Do Not Be Anxious

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?[g] 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

 26  People will faint from fear and apprehension because of the things that are to come on the inhabited world, because the powers of heaven will be shaken.

 27  Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in a cloud’ with power and great glory.

Give Light is a Christian YouTube channel that serves to proclaim the truth and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all around the world.

This channel is founded by me (Reese), an ex-Muslim born in Algeria. The primary focus of this channel is to teach Biblical truth and other Christian apologetics to strengthen the audience’s faith in Christ.

This is not to say that my content will never expose Islam. Exposing Islam of its fallacies is a necessary and much needed work. However, this channel will focus first and foremost on the hope we have for eternal life in Christ alone.

The Muslim world (and entire world) needs to know of the one and only “…Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Theophilus WhatsApp Group

Hi folks,

I’ve been thinking about starting a WhatsApp Group to afford an opportunity for anyone in the Christian faith community and those seeking answers to share and discuss all things Christian. I’ve chosen the name Theophilus for the Group which translates as Friend of God.

Luke writes at the beginning of his Gospel account this dedication to Theophilus

“1 Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, 2 just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4 that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught.”

Just as Luke writes that his Theophilus would have certainty concerning the things he had been taught pertaining to Jesus Christ, The WORD, it is my desire that this group would foster that same desire.
